ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

New Estate Baptist School was founded by New Estate Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev Dr Sola Aworinde on the 15th of September, 1997, with five pupils (in the Creche /Nursery) and three teachers. It was then located at no. 25 Maduagwu Moronu Street, Masha – Surulere with Mrs Nturu as the pioneer Headmistress and Mrs Olateju Adegbite as the ‘Management Board Chairman’. The aim of establishing the school is to build self-reliant, disciplined confident pupils, poised and ready to face future challenges. The School is poised to combat and conquer juvenile delinquency / moral decadence in our society and imbibes in the children the notion of “Excellence” derivable from the knowledge of God in Christ.

The school was born out of a strong passion of an all-round development of a children to see they have the right foundational structure to reach their full potential in life. The drive in all round child development covers raising well-disciplined children and harnessing the growth of their in-built skills through the provision of an amiable learning environment.

The school culture which promotes friendliness and zeal to learn influences not just the students but also the entire the internal staff. This our unique culture affects the make-up of our classrooms, library, play areas and every part of the school area. This helps in the engagement of continuous learning all through the time spent in school.

WHAT WE OFFER

Club Activities: We engage in extra-curricular activities the helps in developing the creative and innovative minds of our children. These events also exposes them to the critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Educative Events: We offer educative events that provides a platform for our children to showcase their skill, stretch their creativeness and give them social exposure a great deal.

Infants Community: our well-trained care givers are on hand to provide adequate care and full attention to our infants to support them and keep them clean and happy all day long

Starters’ community: The toddlers that makes up this community are groomed with peer group activities, interactions that build their mental alertness very fast, this is couples with their play time to keep them active and strong.

Elementary school: Our Elementary school children are equipped with the requisite knowledge for intellectual and physical development. We leverage on the uniqueness of each of the child and give them the requires attention for their academic enrichment
